Vogalonga Down Unda

Goolwa will host the next Vogalonga Down Unda on Sunday 24 April 2022.  This will be third year that this event will be held.  It is based on Venice's annual activity which encourages the friendly participation of groups using human power to navigate their craft through three possible courses in the River Murray in Goolwa and around the canals of Hindmarsh Island. A 'Slow' Fundraiser for Bushfire Relief

Goolwa is a Cittaslow, or 'slow town'. Cittaslow encourages residents to work with their local council and local businesses to identify the town's unique qualities and to make it possible for everyone, including visitors, to slow down and enjoy these special qualities together. Cittaslow Goolwa provides a great opportunity for this to happen when they run the "At The Wharf" community event. Anyone attending the free event, gets to enjoy local food and beverages along with great music and great company.
